Shannon has deep roots in Colorado. Her family originally homesteaded in Southeastern Colorado in the early 1900’s. She was born and raised in Southern Colorado and fell in love with Boulder at a young age while visiting family members attending CU. In 1989, she trained for her first 10K and ran the Bolder Boulder that May. She fell in love once again. This time with a cute CU engineering grad student named Scott. Shannon and Scott have lived in the area ever since. Over the years, they have enjoyed living in Boulder, Gunbarrel, Longmont and most recently Niwot. Scott has been on the engineering faculty at CU for 23 years.
Shannon and Scott loved raising their boys in the Boulder area. With great schools, endless opportunities for outdoor adventures, and lifelong friendships that started on cold mornings on the sidelines of soccer, football and baseball fields, they can’t imagine a better place to build a family. Now their two boys are off pursuing their own dreams.
After completing a degree in Marketing, Shannon lived in Southern France, working for an American Art Foundation. She then built an early career in global event planning. Over the years, she volunteered in many capacities, ranging from room parent multiple years to Vice President of the Silver Creek High School Education Foundation. A blend of professional organization and a network of community connections led Shannon to turn her passion for helping friends and family buy and sell homes to a career in real estate.
Shannon provides an individualized client experience and a passion for helping the people of the Boulder and Northern Colorado areas smoothly transition from one home to another; to plant their roots, raise their family, expand their wealth, or relax and retire. Her keys to success include attention to detail, a positive attitude, and an honest and straightforward approach to buying and selling real estate.
Now more than ever, Shannon is working diligently to provide a safe home buying and selling process. With the use of virtual tools Shannon can guide her clients through many of the initial steps online. Shannon is quickly adapting her services to provide solutions for her clients.
